Dana is the president and managing partner of Penman PR based in Washington DC. She oversees many aspects of the firm’s operations, implements organizational strategies, and manages some of the firm’s key accounts. Dana has mastered the art of engaging her moral values and professional skills while weeding through fluff to get to the real story.

 

Dana came to Penman PR in 2013 from the hospitality industry, a high-stakes game where alignment of strategy and priorities and customer satisfaction are paramount. She was instrumental in the success of numerous properties such as The Marriott Downtown Austin, The Driskill Hotel, and The Hotel and Conference Center at Auburn University. In bringing her customer-first mindset to the public relations arena, Dana has earned a place in the executive suite. No matter how lofty her clients’ PR goals may be, Dana’s are higher. She orchestrates sophisticated media and analyst relations campaigns and promotes such compelling stories, she is a favorite among journalists and clients alike.

 

Dana has a bachelor degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Auburn University.
